Rally entry is US$462 per person, including 15.5% VAT. Entry plus Full Board accommodation is US$1,617 per person, including VAT. National Parks fees and personal extras are separate.

Your ticket includes the opening and finale dinners, maps, information and gifts, mechanical support, medical support and ACE cover, professional guides, and event photography and video.

Payment is preferably made by bank deposit or direct bank transfer. Bank details and payment information are available from the Safari Rally team at info@safari-rally.com.

Once we receive your completed registration form, we’ll be in touch with the relevant payment details so you can arrange payment.

Choose Full Board accommodation or arrange your own stay, including camping. Full Board costs US$1,155 per person in addition to your entry ticket and covers four nights: one in Bulawayo, two at selected Hwange lodges and one in Victoria Falls, with dinner, bed and breakfast, plus packed lunches on rally days.

If you arrange your own stay, there is no Rally accommodation fee. You must be fully self-sufficient and book and pay for all four nights yourself. The Safari Rally team handles Full Board bookings.

No. National Parks fees are additional for everyone. All participants, camping or Full Board, pay these fees at registration in Bulawayo. Fees depend on whether you are a Zimbabwean local, SADC resident or international visitor.

Cancellation fees depend on how many days before travel you cancel:

• 61 days or more: 25% cancellation fee.
• 31–60 days: 50% cancellation fee.
• 0–30 days: 100% cancellation fee.

Choose a vehicle with suitable ground clearance; four-wheel drive is not essential. Expect dirt roads and bush tracks. Conditions can change each year with weather, rainfall, maintenance and other local factors. Allow time, drive to the conditions and come prepared for uneven surfaces, mud and water.

All vehicles must have a spare tyre, first aid kits, a tow rope/chain, and 10 litres of fresh water on board.

A warning triangle and fire extinguisher are also compulsory. See Rules & Code of Conduct for the full checklist and recommended extras.

Supporters, observers, family and friends are welcome to join the adventure—including carrying extra supplies or gear. They may follow or accompany participants in any vehicle, including 4×4s; the competing-vehicle age limits do not apply to supporters and observers.

Each person needs a Rally entry ticket; accommodation fees apply if they choose Full Board. Those arranging to camp must book and pay for their own camping arrangements.

You’ll receive offline GPS map routes to help you follow each day’s route. Use the rally route information and briefings to prepare before setting off.

Our recommendation: bring a good navigator. The scenery has a habit of being distracting.

Medical assistance, including paramedics, is available throughout the rally. Your entry ticket includes immediate emergency treatment during the rally and evacuation to hospital through ACE Air & Ambulance.
